Rehearsal Dinner at HH

The wedding day may be the celebration everyone has been waiting for, but the rehearsal dinner is where the weekend truly begins. It’s a chance to slow down, gather your closest family and friends, and enjoy a meaningful evening together before the excitement of the big day arrives! Here are all the common questions we get regarding rehearsal dinners here at HH.

Rehearsal Dinner Table Setup

At Hoyt Hallow, we set up all tables and chairs for your wedding reception early in the week according to your final reception table plan.

For your rehearsal dinner, we will allocate the appropriate number of tables based on the number of guests attending your rehearsal. The rehearsal tables will not be arranged according to a separate seating/table plan unless you add this service.

Want a separate table plan for your rehearsal dinner?

No problem! A custom rehearsal dinner table plan is available as a $250 add-on. This can be for indoors or outdoors.

This add-on must be selected and paid for at least two weeks before your wedding date so our team has adequate time to prepare and set up your rehearsal dinner according to your desired layout.

Things to keep in mind

  • Outdoor table setup is weather permitting. We not risk getting our tables and chairs getting wet or damaged by weather.

  • Rehearsal dinner setup must be approved by B+G. (Sometimes brides plan to have the inside of our reception hall ready for wedding the day prior.)

  • Outside tables are set up and tore down same day.

Without the $250 add-on: Tables will be provided based on your rehearsal guest count, but no separate rehearsal table plan or custom layout will be created.

Linens for your allocated rehearsal dinner tables may be rented from us for $10 per table cloth.

Food and Drinks

Catering for rehearsal can be laid back (aka pizza) or as formal as you’d like it to be. Our only food restrictions here are no seafood boils and no grills or open flames on our patio.

For beer and wine to be present at rehearsal you do have to have a venue approved licensed and insured bartender, our security officer (price may vary), and the appropriate event insurance. Please remember we do not allow liquor of any sort on our property.

We do have a full residental kitchen for your use. Do not use the kitchen to cook full meals but you can use it to prep. We have a fridge, oven. sink, wine cooler. No icemaker must bring ice.

What time should you do rehearsal?

We require rehearsal to be at least an hour and a half before sunset. We will practice for the first hour and half of rehearsal so plan for food delivery or to keep food warm accordingly.

You may have speeches, projectors and tvs at rehearsal dinner. We do not provide sound equipment, mics, TV’s , or projectors.

End of the night responsibilities

  • Please ensure that all your rehearsal decor is taken home (if not using for wedding day).

  • All trash in trash cans.

  • All rehearsal food must be taken home or disposed of.

  • Please make sure our kitchen is tidied up.

  • Leave HH linens and decor on tables

End of the night clean up starts 9pm. HH closes and all guest depart by 10pm.

If you have additional questions please feel free to reachout!

-XOXO HH
